The improvements are nice, and the visual effects and the quick search are great, but the gnome shell requires some minor tweaks for me:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Add maximize and minimize buttons<\/strong>To add minimize, and maximize buttons Install gnome-tweak-tool<br \/>\n<code><br \/>\naptitude install gnome-tweak-tool<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Then click on shell:<br \/>\nAnd set the<code> \"Arrangement of buttons on toolbar\" : All<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Then reload gnome shell by<br \/>\n<code>press ALT + F2 and type \"r\" <\/code><\/li>\n<li> <strong>To enable Desktop Icons and Right Click Do:<\/strong><br \/>\n<code><br \/>\nOpen dconf by pressing alt + f2 and running:<br \/>\ndconf-editor<br \/>\nGo to org &gt; gnome &gt; desktop &gt; background and check the box to show desktop icons.<\/code><\/li>\n<li> <strong>If you are using nvidia you might expirance this error when you press super (win) + iceweasel or any other program name you are looking for:<\/strong>\n<p><code>Mar 23 19:43:23  kernel: [17927.866833] gnome-shell[29489]: segfault at 10 ip 00007f129f455c0f sp 00007f1280632658 error 6 in libnvidia-tls.so.295.20[7f129f455000+3000]<br \/>\nMar 23 19:43:23  x-session-manager[7995]: WARNING: Application 'gnome-shell.desktop' killed by signal<br \/>\n<\/code><\/p>\n<p>Solution (fix) :<br \/>\n<code>echo &gt; \/home\/lucas\/.local\/share\/recently-used.xbel<br \/>\nsu root<br \/>\nchattr +i \/home\/lucas\/.local\/share\/recently-used.xbel<br \/>\n<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Recently upgraded to Debian Wheezy (testing).
